Google is deleting an official Iranian application to detect the corona virus.
Removed the Google application called (AC19) dedicated to the Android system from the store by the official (Google Play) Google Play, developed by the government of Iran to discover the injury corona virus (COVID-19) and tracking, so after visiting the wall about the app, where the accused many of the users of the Iranian government using the panic about MERS-CoV and to deceive the citizens in order to install the application and gather phone numbers and data of the geographical location in real-time.
After the emergence of the accusations, said a researcher in the field of malware within the Android system in the security company ESET (Lucas, Stephanie) and Lukas Stefanko: “based on the analysis of the application and its behavior, it is not a Trojan, a malicious or spy software, not contains any suspicious behavior”.
Sources pointed out that Google removed the app to implement the policies of the store because of the misleading claims that her leg app, and in the detection of injuries corona virus, which is impossible through the app, as being patients with MERS-CoV suspects tests, and check their injury after the analysis of the microbiological samples taken from the larynx.
