Duolingo launches app that teaches young children to read

Duolingo, the owner of one of the world's most popular language learning apps, on Thursday launched a new app aimed at teaching young children to read.
The new app, Duolingo ABC, teaches reading in English, uses short lessons to teach the alphabet, then sounds, and then visual words, and is specifically targeted at children between the ages of 3 and 6.

The company says: Duolingo ABC offers 300 lessons, and children will be asked to perform tasks and tests to improve his ability to read, such as spelling words given from a set of letters, as requests to pass the finger on the letters in its large and small image, pass the finger on the names, and click on the items that begin by the letter given, and clicking on a specific word in a sentence.

Unfortunately, the new app is initially available only for iOS, and in English-speaking countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Soon the application will be available in all countries, and it must be developed to support different languages and not just English, we hope to progress because this application is important

The company said it plans to launch a version of Google's Android operating system later. Note that the app is free and does not contain any ads or internal purchases.
